The Essential Blouse II: Madder

I’m excited to share some progress on The Essentials Collection today as Jill and I release the second colorway of The Essential Blouse! This time around we added another layer to the collaboration, teaming up with Graham Keegan, a Los Angeles based textile designer who uses natural, plant-based dyes to create the most stunning and uniquely varying hues. To create the blouse’s beautiful red pigment, we used madder, a flowering plant root that was dried, crushed and used as the base for the fabric wash.

The result is a rich hue that we think adds an elegant pop to your winter wardrobe. You can get your hands on one starting today by hopping over to Jill’s shop!
