Nido is one brand I’ve long admired for their handmade approach to style, turning out one timeless collection after the other since they first emerged in 2012. Based in Argentina, the brand offers small batch knitwear and accessories with a particular attention to detail, and a substantial love of their craft.
From start-to-finish, each of Nido’s pieces is handspun, hand dyed, and hand knitted, resulting in a line of unique and imperfect designs that speak to the nature of their traditional processes. With the majority of their work rooted in wool, this season, Nido branched out to introduce a new material to their repertoire — linen.
Like their previous collections, the silhouettes are simple and layer-able, keeping comfort at the forefront. From shift dresses, to tanks, to trousers, I can envision this collection rotating through my closet well through spring and summer. As they say, there are few things more chic than a woman in linen.
